The Springfield Plateau Grotto and its members are serious about helping the public understand caves. The following materials are the beginning of an ambitious project to produce educational materials related to cave biology, ecology and conservation, restoration, formation, management, gating, and mapping. We'll also produce materials that guide cavers to safe and appropriate cave etiquette and behavior. Also enjoy our newly published Caring For Your Karst Booklet to help landowners in protecting and educating them on how important their Karst is that they own and how it really effects the people around them and themselves.
