National Speleological Society
All SPG members are encouraged to join and participate in the NSS. The NSS produces a monthly NSS News and a quarterly Journal of Caves and Karst Studies. Jon Beard is the current Conservation Task Force Coordinator for the NSS. Two-thirds of the SPG membership are NSS members!

Missouri Speleological Survey
This organization is the repository of the Missouri caves files and produces a bi-monthly MSS Liaison newsletter and Missouri Speleology journal. SPG members are encouraged to join the MSS, attend its three meetings annually and contribute to the cave files and cave studies.
Missouri Caves & Karst Conservancy
The MCKC owns Berome Moore Cave in Perry County, Skaggs Cave in Pulaski County, co-manages Dream Cave, Ozark County, leases Crystal Caverns, Barry County, manages Sarcoxie Cave in Jasper County and Perkins Cave in Camden County. Four SPG members, Jon Beard, Vice President, Maria Thompson, Executive Secretary, Bonnie Howard, Recording Secretary, Bill Heim,Director are members of the MCKC Board of Directors. SPG members are encouraged to join MCKC and assist in the conservation of Missouri's caves. American Cave Conservation Association
The American Cave Conservation Association owns and operates the American Caves and Karst Museum in Horse Cave, Kentucky and owns the nearby entrance to Hidden River Cave, one of America's longest caves. The ACCA produces the quarterly American Caves. The ACCA was co-founded by Tom Aley of the Ozark Underground Lab.
Bat Conservation International
Bat Conservation International owns Bracken Cave in Texas, the world's largest colony of bats (about 20 million Mexican free-tailed bats use this 400-foot cave in the summer). BCI produces the quarterly BATS magazine.

Dr. Bill Elliott, who authored the educational article on cave gating, has this website on biospeleology.
Cave Archaeology Investigation Research Network (CAIRN)
CAIRN is a nonprofit organization of trained cavers and archaeologists whose mission is to identify, document, and protect archaeological sites within caves.
